Effective date: April 27, 2026.
The Power Curve aims to provide a clear, readable, keyboard-accessible publication experience for readers, members, and institutional audiences. Accessibility is treated as part of editorial quality: the work should be easy to read, navigate, and use.
Accessibility approach
The site is maintained with attention to semantic headings, readable typography, link clarity, keyboard navigation, captions, image alt text, sufficient color contrast, and responsive layouts that work across common screen sizes.
Standards
The goal is to align with the practical baseline of WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible for a Ghost-based publication. Some older archive material may not fully meet current standards, but new templates and major pages should move toward that baseline.
Current measures
Current accessibility measures include readable line lengths, clear heading hierarchy, descriptive link text, keyboard-aware navigation, visible focus states where supported by the theme, captions or context for figures, and descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
Known limitations
Some older posts, legacy podcast pages, embedded third-party media, historical images, or imported archive content may have incomplete captions, alt text, or transcript formatting. These items are being improved as part of ongoing site maintenance.
Data collection
Accessibility requests may include information you provide directly by email, such as contact details, device context, assistive technology notes, or details about the page where a problem occurred.
Email subscriptions
Subscription and member access flows should remain understandable and usable. If you have difficulty subscribing, logging in, or managing email access, contact the address below.
Third-party services
Some features may be provided by third-party services for publishing, email delivery, payments, analytics, spam prevention, or embedded media. Their accessibility may vary by provider.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility issue, please include the page URL, a short description of the problem, the device and browser you are using, and any assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it. This helps reproduce and fix the issue.
Ongoing work
Accessibility work is ongoing. Priorities include maintaining accessible templates, improving archive material over time, checking new images and figures before publication, and keeping subscription and contact flows usable.
