The Power Curve collects the minimum information needed to operate the publication, manage subscriptions, understand site performance, and respond to reader or organization inquiries. This policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and how to contact us with privacy questions.
Information you provide
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, subscription or membership status, organization, role, and any message you send by email or through a form. If you request a conversation, we may use the information you provide to respond and prepare for that discussion.
Information collected automatically
The site may receive basic technical and usage information, including browser type, device type, referring pages, approximate location derived from network data, pages viewed, and timestamps. This information helps maintain security, diagnose problems, understand reader demand, and improve the publication experience.
Email subscriptions
If you subscribe by email or become a member, your email address is used to deliver publication updates, member access, account notices, and related communications. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional email through the link included in those messages. Transactional account messages may still be sent when needed to operate your account.
Payments and memberships
Payment information is handled by third-party payment providers. The Power Curve does not intentionally store full payment card numbers. We may receive payment status, plan, and billing-related account information needed to manage access.
Third-party services
The site may use third-party services for hosting, publishing, email delivery, analytics, payments, spam prevention, search, and embedded media. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Examples may include the publishing platform, payment processor, email systems, analytics tools, and media or podcast platforms.
How information is used
Information may be used to publish and deliver research, manage subscriptions, provide member access, respond to inquiries, protect the site, understand performance, improve editorial and product decisions, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell reader personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer involving the publication.
Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the publication, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and support security. You may request deletion of information where applicable.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from email updates, manage account access through the subscription flow, or contact us to request correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable.
